Nigma is version 2 of The Basics Site Builder program. After finishing the Site Builder program, we realized the demand for flexibility in our systems. This wasn't possible with the old system so we spent the last 18 months designing and developing a completely new system that would provide the flexibility demanded by many of our clients. Thus Nigma was born to provide these solutions.

Notifications API - January 30, 2008
Nigma now comes with a notifications API. Nigma will not accept XML messages, but will also send XML notifications to an unlimited amount of subscribed systems. Notifications are sent out in the event of new orders, invoices and clients and also status changes of orders, invoices and clients.

Take your ecommerce store to a whole new level with Nigma. Nigma is a complete ecommerce tool to manage every aspect of your online store. Nigma was designed to manage many different kinds of products and orders and can easily be extended upon to become even more customizable. Nigma is an ecommerce engine; not just an administration panel and shopping cart. The data flow and interfaces for these systems can be customized to any degree or left as is for a quick installation.

With Nigma you get our robust XML API ecommerce engine that will provide a powerful foundation for your business operations. You will also get a fully featured administration panel to manage every aspect of your store and the engine. We have also included a demo storefront for easy setup and installation. The design of the store can be edited with CSS and smarty templating. It is also very easy to develop your own implementation of the software into your own custom storefront using the XML API (compatible with any language that supports XML and HTTP Protocol).

Shopping Cart Software– With Nigma your store gets a user friendly shopping cart. Nigma has a built in billing system that can offer automated recurring billing if desired. Offer memberships and complex products with a variety of billing cycles. Be more flexible by billing your clients on any interval you wish whether its monthly, quarterly, yearly or anything in between.

Products- Nigma works with all products whether they are physical, downloadable, memberships or service based. The product system is highly configurable including the data that defines your product. Nigma permits custom information to be stored for each of your products. For example, if you were selling T-Shirts, you may wish to store the available sizes and the available colors. As application developers, it wouldn't’t make sense for us to define these fields within our program as very few of our users may actually use them. So we created a virtual database where you can define your own fields for your products. This allows our system to be molded to fit almost any business model.

Administration- Being a store owner and managing products, orders and support inquiries on separate systems can be very confusing BUT with Nigma you can manage all this data in one system and from one administration panel. The panel supports different levels of administrators and departments for managing different businesses of the site (ie. tech support or sales rep). For custom systems, the administration system can be extended into other programs providing a seamless integration.

XML API
Every command and function powering Nigma can be called by the remote API. In fact the administration, client and ordering panel that come with the suite makes every call to the system via this API. By abstracting the core engine of our system, we have allowed third party developers to create their own custom modules that can connect to the API to process and pull data and then handle it anyway desired.
